The Breaking Bad spinoff will premiere later this year, but star Bob Odenkirk hasn’t read anything yet.

Bob Odenkirk spoke to reporters today about his new show Fargo, and among other things, he talked a bit about how much he has seen from the Breaking Bad spinoff Better Call Saul.

“I haven’t read anything for Better Call Saul,” Odenkirk said. “The vibe I’ve gotten is that the show is going to be very intense.”

It shouldn’t be a huge shock that Odenkirk hasn’t seen much yet. The show is still being put together, and Vince Gilligan always is very secretive.

We’ll be bringing you more from Odenkirk and what he had to say about Fargo soon.

Not much is known about the show yet. The one thing that is official is that Jonathan Banks will return as Mike Ehrmantraut, Saul’s private investigator.

Aaron Paul too has expressed interest in returning.

“Anything Vince is involved with, I’m there,” said Paul. “I owe him my entire career. And the idea of jumping into the skin of Jesse Pinkman again in his lighter days — because it’s all a prequel — it would be fun.”

Better Call Saul is expected to premiere in November on AMC. All episodes will be available on Netflix immediately after the season comes to a close.

The synopsis for the new show says Better Call Saul “tells the story of mall-based super lawyer Saul Goodman in the years before he became Walter White’s attorney. From parking tickets to mass murder, from slip-and-fall to bond fraud, Saul handles it all.”
