Blue Ivy, Beyonce and Jay Z’s firstborn, entered the world one year ago January 7. Let’s celebrate Blue Ivy turning 1!

Our first look at the baby came on February 10 when Beyonce launched a Tumblr and unveiled the following Blue Ivy photos. They appear to had been taken on the day of her birth:

Two days after the birth, Jay Z released a new song entitled “Glory” which featured Blue Ivy screaming and crying singing at the end. That put Blue Ivy into the record books; she is obviously the youngest celebrity baby to ever feature on a high profile rap song. It was noteworthy when “Glory” debuted on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop songs chart at number 74.

Beyonce will continue to dominate pop culture when she performs at next month’s Super Bowl on February 3. No word yet if Blue Ivy will perform (doubtful), but it seems likely that Jay Z could come on stage for a song given the couple’s collective star power. Beyonce is expected to release a new album this year. On February 16, HBO will debut a new documentary directed by Beyonce about her own life. Everything will be documented, from her upbringing to coming back into the spotlight after the birth of Blue Ivy.

Happy birthday, Blue Ivy!
