The English version of the Japanese Supernatural: The Animated Series is scheduled for Blu-ray release on September 26th. We now have the specs and suggested list price.
High-Def Digest has announced that the Blu-ray discs will feature 1080p video and a Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtrack.
Special features include:
– “The Making of Supernatural: The Anime Series” 2-part featurette
– Interviews with: Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, creator Eric Kripke, directors Shigeyuki Miya and Atsuko Ishizuka, and voice actors Hiroki Touchi and Yuuya Uchida
– Episode introductions by Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles
– Trailers and TV Spots
The suggested list price for the Blu-ray will be $54.97.
