Letitia Wright won all of our hearts as the scientific genius Shuri in Black Panther, but on The Tonight Show she showed off her freestyle rapping skills.

During the production of Black Panther, the cast and crew made several behind-the-scenes videos of the cast freestyle rapping. Letitia Wright’s rapping prowess was quickly noticed and loved by fans, so it’s not surprising that on her recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that she participated in Fallon’s infamous Wheel of Freestyle.

For those who haven’t seen the bit before (and if you haven’t you definitely need to check out the Tonight Show YouTube archives to see past performances by people like Common and Lin-Manuel Miranda), Fallon has a “freestyle generator” that produces three random, totally unrelated words, and guests have to build a freestyle rap that incorporates those words in some form or fashion. While sometimes the words are easier to rhyme with than others, inevitably at least one tough word gets thrown into the mix like vibranium and Benedict Cumberbatch (seriously).

It’s a crazy hard thing to do, but it’s always shocking to see the talent and quick thinking that goes into the Wheel of Freestyle bit. Letitia Wright had her work cut out for her trying to build rap around Red Lobster and vibranium, but she did a great job.

We love Letitia Wright, and we love that she was game for such an intensely hard game. Although we shouldn’t be surprised that she did such a good job. Because after all, if anyone can figure out how to work vibranium into a freestyle rap, it’s gonna be Shuri, right?
