Billy Eichner brought his signature outbursts and flustered commentary to the grocery store with Sesame Street’s Big Bird and First Lady Michelle Obama in tow.
In the 12-minute video, Billy leads Michelle through hilarious segments like a round of games where she’s asked to hide, proclaim “I am Groot,” and name the four characters from The Facts of Life (with a little help from Big Bird). All the while, a woman named Elena offers some standard elderly person commentary.
And it’s all for a picture of Ariana Grande’s ponytail.
At the end of the video Big Bird goes running through the streets of Manhattan with Billy, asking random people even more random questions (“Has Big Bird seen Birdman?”).
Michelle Obama agreed to appear in this ridiculous sketch all in the name of healthy eating. She launched her “Let’s Move!” campaign five years ago this month.
