The first full-length trailer for Disney and Marvel’s Big Hero 6 debuted bright and early on Tuesday and includes a Frozen easter egg.

Today’s Big Hero 6 trailer focuses on Hiro and Baymax’s visit to the police station where they’re trying to convince an officer to believe their story about the villain Yokai. While Hiro pleads his case, Baymax can’t help but get distracted by an opportunity to make a little music using air and plastic tape.

Elsewhere in the trailer we see Hiro tell Baymax that he needs some upgrades and we’re also introduced to several supporting characters. At the end, we see what happens with Baymax runs low on battery power – he acts like he’s drunk after a long night out.

Big Hero 6 will obviously appeal to kids and may connect with them on a level deeper than humor if they can root for Hiro and Baymax to save the day.

Fun fact: Frozen’s Hans appears to make an appearance in the film via an easter egg. He appears on the “Wanted” poster at the police station, as you can see on the right side of this image (click for full size):

Disney (and their animation studio Pixar) are no strangers to including easter eggs in their films – just look at the ones they placed in Frozen. This is one of those rare times that an egg appears in a promotional trailer. Perhaps because Frozen was a huge box office success and they want to sprinkle a little of that magic on Big Hero 6?

Big Hero 6 opens in theaters November 7. A synopsis from Disney to accept the “heart and humor” you’ve come to expect from the studio as lead character Hiro “learns to harness his genius—thanks to his brilliant brother Tadashi and their like-minded friends: adrenaline junkie Go Go Tomago, neatnik Wasabi, chemistry whiz Honey Lemon and fanboy Fred. When a devastating turn of events catapults them into the midst of a dangerous plot unfolding in the streets of San Fransokyo, Hiro turns to his closest companion—a robot named Baymax—and transforms the group into a band of high-tech heroes determined to solve the mystery.”
