Week 3 nominations have been made! Here are the highlights from Big Brother season 17, episode 9!
1. Julia tells Vanessa the truth
While lying in bed, Vanessa asks Liz about the twin twist. She admits to the twin twist and tells Vanessa that her real name is Julia. Vanessa promises to help her get numbers on their side to protect her. So Vanessa works to recruit Shelli and Clay for an alliance. They offer up tips to keep the twins looking the same.
2. Vanessa and Austin make their plan
This week is easy for the two Head of Households, Vanessa and Austin were already working together in the game. Now that they’re in charge, they’re on the same page as far as who needs to go. Vanessa wants to put up James right away and keep Jeff as a backdoor option. She also thinks they should arrange it that she keeps the power and Austin is dethroned, and he agrees!
3.Sixth sense
When Liz re-enters the house, she goes to meet with Austin and Liz. They update her on everything that’s been happening as well as how she can look more like her sister. When Clay and Shelli join they make the alliance official and Austin comes up with the name Sixth Sense.
4. Nominations
At the nomination ceremony Austin nominates Meg and Jason. Vanessa nominates John and James. Her targets for this week are James and Jeff. John has agreed to throw the Battle of the Block in return for safety from Austin and Vanessa until the final 10.
5. Battle of the Block
Club Gronk is the theme of the Battle of the Block competition. The houseguests have to find one item in the lost and found and return it to it’s party goer. The first to get 10 people matched and in the VIP area wins. John fulfills his promise and throws the competition so that Jason and Meg win. That means that Austin is dethroned and Vanessa becomes the sole Head of Household.
