Big Brother season 16, episode 9 just finished airing and the week 3 eviction nominees have been revealed! Read our recap to find out what happened!

Nicole isn’t happy about being HoH and feels that having to nominate others will make her a target. Meanwhile, Derrick is happy about the role.

Devin told Brittany and Jocasta about the Bomb Squad thinking to harm the other members. He also told Donny who was more surprised. Devin then went Derrick to try and get him to put him up. But Derrick doesn’t plan on giving him the chance to save himself.

Derrick pulled Caleb aside and revealed he wants to get Devin out. And Caleb agrees it’s time for him to go.

Christine talks to Nicole and tells her about the Bomb Squad. She hopes that doing so will save her alliance. Nicole isn’t sure how she feels about it, but doesn’t want to end the alliance.

In the new HoH room Nicole and Derrick find pictures and letters from their families.

After everyone leaves, Nicole and Derrick sit down to talk strategy. They decide to work together and figure out who to nominate. Their plan is for Nicole to nominate Amber and Derrick to nominate Caleb (so he has the chance to save Amber) and Jocasta. The problem is coming up with a fourth person to nominate.

In the yard, Nicole and Hayden cuddle on the hammock. And he lays on the flirting thick. When he jokingly/seriously asks if she wants to make out Nicole laughs it off.

Derrick brings Caleb up to the HoH room to talk about nominations. Caleb says that if Amber goes up he wants to go up as well to save her. This way he can prove to her his feelings.

After leaving Derrick, Caleb tells Amber the plan. She agrees with the back door plan to get rid of Devin. When he tells Amber that he volunteered to be put up she’s speechless at first. Amber seems genuinely concerned about him going up.

When Nicole wakes up in the morning she asks for Donny’s advice. Donny is surprised to hear that Caleb volunteered himself. He suggests that Nicole put up Christine since she was in the Bomb Squad.

Donny then tells Brittany and Jocasta that Caleb is planning to throw the competition. Amber overhears and tells Nicole. So now Nicole decides to put Donny up since he can’t be trusted.

At the nomination ceremony Nicole goes first and Derrick second. Nicole nominates Amber and Donny. Derrick nominates Caleb and Jocasta. Devin quickly realizes their plan and is disappointed.

Hayden goes to visit the shaken Nicole. She’s worried everyone hates her and feels guilty for nominating Donny. But Hayden tells her not to worry.

Devin goes to talk to Derrick and says he understands the game being played. He decides to try and play it nice to win Derrick over. Clearly, Derrick sees right through it.

Victoria asks Frankie about his sibling, so he proceeds to describe Ariana without saying who she is. Frankie goes on the alert as he tries to keep his secret.

Team America gets their first mission. They must spread the rumor that a houseguest is the relative of a past Big Brother contestant. Derrick and Frankie discuss the mission. They decide to tell the others that Zach is related to Amanda from season 15. Their plan is to say Zach told Paola the information.

Nicole and Donny have a tear-filled heart-to-heart conversation. He says he’s not holding it against her. Donny says he doesn’t remember her saying not to tell anyone. They decide to form an alliance and she’s sure to tell him he can’t tell anyone.

At the Battle of the Block everyone dresses up as wizards. One player must run across the yard to nominate pieces while the other solves the puzzle. The first to finish wins and is safe.

While Caleb takes the game easy, Jocasta is already sure he plans to throw it. Donny has fun with the puzzle, but Amber not so much. Still, the teams are neck-in-neck. But Amber and Donny finish first. Although Amber celebrates the victory she’s worried for Caleb.

Nicole and Derrick are glad their plan is working so far. But Derrick points out that they may be the next targets.
