Big Brother season 16, episode 4 just finished airing and the winner of the power of veto has been revealed! Read our recap to find out what happened.

After the Battle of the Block competition, Brittany and Victoria celebrate with a toast. Frankie gets a little paranoid that since he doesn’t have power any longer he could be in trouble.

Donny laments that since he and Paola lost the competition, they must now work against one another to try and save themselves from eviction. Paola feels bad for Donny because she did so poorly. She even says that wants to save him over herself (yeah, right). So, naturally, they hug it out.

Caleb admits that after seeing how well Donny did in the competition, he’s a little worried about him. Devin isn’t surprised Donny did well, but is surprised that he lost. Then proceeds to go and pretend to still be friends with Donny. While Donny is pouring his heart out Devin continues to feel paranoid.

When night falls, Nicole gets freaked out in the fire room. She’s convinced that a ghost is haunting it and gets Christine scared as well. Together they hide from the ghost and confuse everyone else.

Caleb joins Club Paranoid and tells Frankie and Devin he thinks Donny is ex-military. Devin agrees that Donny has to have been in the military. Frankie still isn’t convinced and thinks they’re both crazy.

Later, Devin decides to question Donny. He says he wants to give Donny a chance to come clean. But Donny insists that he is actually a grounds keeper. So Devin then asks him point blank if he was ever in the military. All the questioning makes Donny realize that Devin doesn’t really trust him. In the confessional, Devin tears up and hopes that he’s not accusing Donny of something he’s not guilty of.

Cody, Joey, Hayden, and Brittany volunteer to be the have-nots. They discover that their slop is frozen, which keeps in theme with their ice room. They act excited about it and we’re not really sure why.

Joey tries once again to create an all girl alliance, but she doesn’t do a very good job and everyone else thinks she’s crazy. Little does she know that Amber and Christine are already part of a strong alliance in the Bomb Squad. None of the girls make a commitment to Joey.

After seeing all the girls in the bathroom, Derrick heads upstairs to tell Caleb. But Caleb isn’t worried because he says girls segregate themselves. Later, Amber heads up to the HOH room and tells Caleb she doesn’t know what Joey is thinking. It looks like Joey just put a BIG target on her back!

When Joey realizes that Devin is acting weird, she decides to come clean. He tells her that he already knew about the alliance. And he thinks she’s even more foolish for admitting it. Now she has an even bigger target on her back, but she doesn’t realize it yet.

The house gets ready for the veto nomination by doing the random draw. Victoria, Zach, and Cody get picked to join the veto competition along with Caleb, Donny, and Paola. Paola is nervous about the competition and heads to her room to cry. Jocasta says a prayer for Paola and succeeds in making her feel better.

At the Power of Veto competition they learn they have to play Miami Lice. They must jump into the tub and locate the lice. When they find the lice they must use them to spell words with the letter on the lice. To win the POV they must correctly spell the longest word in the quickest time.

As everyone scrambles around, Donny decides to take his time so he doesn’t wear himself out. Paola freaks out because she can’t find the letter “C” for her word. Zach hits his button first while theres still one minute left. Donny buzzes next with 30 seconds left. Then the rest finish up before the time is up.

Zach spells “warning,” Cody spells “competitively” but spells it wrong, Caleb didn’t finish a word, Victoria didn’t finish a word, Paola didn’t finish a word, and Donny spelled “Splitters.” With a nine letter word, Donny won the POV!

Everyone, except the Bomb Squad, is happy that Donny won the POV. Caleb and Frankie have a meeting about the results. He quickly decides that Joey is going to be the replacement nominee. Frankie agrees with the decision. And Joey soon realizes that she’s in trouble, so she’s not surprised when Caleb pulls her aside. However, she thinks that the talk put her on his good side. Not true at all.

At the veto meeting Donny announces that he’s decided to save himself. Caleb nominates Joey as the replacement and explains it’s because of her attempt to make the all girl alliance. Paola feels better about her chances to make it through the first week now that she’s up against Joey. Meanwhile, Joey promises to do everything she can to save herself from being eliminated.

Who do you want eliminated from ‘Big Brother’ first?
