Big Brother season 16, episode 38 just finished airing and the week 13 eviction has taken place! Read our recap to find out what happened.

It’s revealed that Derrick told Frankie he was being sent home before the eviction. Frankie tells Caleb, Cody, and Derrick that he will convince all the jury members to vote against them. This rubs the guys the wrong way – they don’t think he ever ran the house.

After the Head of Household competition, Cody is nervous about not having won. He’s hopeful he can win the Power of Veto. Derrick is surprised when one of the hollas is changed to his wife and daughter. It’s adorable.

Derrick coaches Victoria and tells her that since they’re acting like they don’t like each other he has to nominate her. He talks to Cody next and asks him what he wants the nominations to be. Obviously Cody asks not to be put up. They agree that they don’t want Caleb going to the final three.

So next Derrick talks to Caleb and tells him that whoever goes on the block is safe because Victoria is the target. He lies and says that Cody volunteered to go up, so Caleb says he wouldn’t care either as long as the guys go to final three.

At the nomination ceremony Derrick nominates Victoria and Caleb. Like planned, he tells Victoria that she’s up because they’ve been fighting. He tells Caleb that he has his back.

At the Power of Veto competition they have to match up clues to the house guest it corresponds to. The first house guest to complete the puzzle and hit their buzzer wins.

Derrick plans to throw the competition, Caleb struggles, Cody comes up with a system, and Victoria works along. Cody hits his buzzer first but has two wrong so he looks again. After hearing Cody’s buzzer, Caleb decides to just throw some pictures up and hope they’re right. Cody hits his buzzer again and gets it correct, winning the Power of Veto.

Caleb celebrates with the guys, not knowing they plan to vote him out. He tells Cody that he hopes playing a loyal game will keep him safe.

At the eviction ceremony Victoria congratulates them on making it to the final four and tells Cody to do what is best for his game. Caleb thanks the troops that fight for the country and his family. He also says that loyalty is much more than a word to him and that he’s been loyal to them the whole game.

Cody tells Victoria and Caleb that he and Derrick made a final two alliance on day two. And that they’ve made all their decisions together this season and that means that Caleb has to go. Caleb is blindsided and clearly pissed!

Caleb tells Julie that in the game you have to expect things like this but he is a little upset Derrick was lying to him. He says he’s most disappointed in Derrick because they were close. But says he doesn’t regret having Frankie evicted because of the way Frankie was acting in the house.
