Big Brother season 16, episode 31 just finished airing and the week 10 Power of Veto has taken place! Read our recap to find out what happened.

Caleb is happy with how well nominations went and fully expects Nicole to go home. Derrick secretly has other plans and would like to see Christine go home. Christine is not pleased to be up on the block.

Nicole is upset about being up on the block. She goes to cry it out with Derrick, who tries to cheer her up. He thinks she can win the veto and save herself.

In the HoH room, Caleb tells Cody his renomination plan is Victoria. But Caleb is also worried that Christine may go after him if she wins HoH next week. Derrick pushes the point that Christine is a strong competitor. They think Christine wouldn’t hesitate to send one of them home.

Victoria and Nicole bond over their hatred for the other houseguests. They talk about how creepy Christine and Cody’s relationship is. Nicole brings up that Christine betrayed her and isn’t trustworthy. They plot for one of them to win the veto and save Nicole.

Stroking Caleb’s ego, Derrick tells him that the final two will come down to Caleb and Cody. Derrick also says that Caleb is a better competitor than him. Derrick adds that if it was against Caleb and him, Caleb would win the $500k.

It’s time to pick the players for the Veto competition: Caleb pulls Cody, Nicole pulls Derrick, and Christine pulls Victoria. Only Frankie is left out of the competition.

Caleb, Cody, and Derrick talk about how paranoid Frankie is getting. Caleb says that after everything Frankie did with the Amber situation, he’d pick them over Frankie for the final three. Derrick tells them that Frankie wants Nicole gone because she’s after him.

At the Power of Veto competition the players must watch a video of a sequence of wires with instructions on which to cut. If they cut correctly they will go to the next round. If they cut wrong they will be eliminated. The last player left will win the POV. The first player to lose will become a dinosaur for the week.

Round 1: Cody is eliminated
Round 2: Everyone is correct
Round 3: Caleb is eliminated
Round 4: Victoria is eliminated
Round 5: Everyone is correct
Round 6: Derrick (purposely) and Nicole are eliminated

Christine wins the Power of Veto and Frankie immediately runs up to fluff her ego. Caleb takes notice and gets annoyed.

Once inside, Caleb tells Derrick and Cody what he saw. They confirm they saw the same thing. Caleb says he wants to ask Christine what Frankie said. Cody gets to Christine first and asks what Frankie said. He’s not too happy to hear that Frankie was poking fun at them for losing.

Cody gets his dinosaur costume. It’s actually pretty cute and definitely hilarious. Of course, he uses it to get kisses from the girls.

When Cody relays Frankie’s comment to Caleb, he’s not happy either. Cody tells Caleb that Frankie wants to bring weak players to the end of the game so he can win.

In the have-not room Nicole tells Derrick she’s impressed by his game. When she compares him to one of the best game-players (Dan Gheesling), Derrick starts to panic. He doesn’t want her going around telling the house how he’s playing. So when he reconvenes with Caleb and Cody, he backs off on the Frankie back-door plan. Before they can come to an agreement Frankie comes and breaks up the talk.

At the veto meeting Christine uses the veto to save herself. Despite all the game talk Caleb decides not to put Frankie up and instead names Victoria as the replacement nominee.
