Big Brother season 16, episode 20 just finished airing and the first double eviction has taken place! Read our recap to find out what happened.

Everyone’s plan is to vote Zach out, but they have to figure out how to bring it up with Caleb. Frankie walks in on Cody and Derrick talking game and gets suspicious. He’s worried that Derrick might not be all Team America like he claims. So Derrick tells Frankie that Zach was the one who wanted to make a final three deal with him and Cody. Derrick tells Frankie to be careful of Zach manipulating him. But still Frankie isn’t sure now is the time to send Zach home.

Out in the yard, Frankie and Derrick break the plan to vote out Zach to Caleb. Caleb wonders why they’re voting him out when he’s a member. He thinks they should stay loyal to the alliance (that Caleb isn’t in). Afterwards Derrick wonders if they should keep Zach after all.

Derrick tells Cody that they should out Hayden and Nicole to stick with the Detonators. That would mean keeping Zach to have their numbers up. Cody tells Christine and Frankie how they were Nicole’s targets. So they decide to keep Zach, who sleeps through the whole thing.

At the house meeting Julie tells the house guests that the double Head of Household twist is dead for the night because it’s time for a double eviction. Also that those evicted tonight are going to be the firsts on the jury. She hints that just because someone is out of the house doesn’t mean they’re out of the game.

At the first eviction the votes go as follows:

Donny votes for: Zach
Caleb votes for: Jocasta
Christine votes for: Jocasta
Derrick votes for: Jocasta
Cody votes for: Jocasta
Hayden votes for: Zach
Frankie votes for: Jocasta
Victoria votes for: Jocasta

With six votes Jocasta is evicted from the house and becomes the first member of jury. Jocasta tells Julie she wasn’t surprised to be evicted from the house.

In the Head of Household competition the house guests must answer a series of math questions based on events in the house. On the first question everyone except Caleb, Christine, and Zach are out. On the second question Zach is out. On the third question Caleb and Christine both get it correct. On the fourth question Christine is out and Caleb is made HoH.

At the nominations ceremony Caleb puts up Hayden and Donny. In the Veto competition Caleb, Hayden, Donny, Zach, Victoria, and Christine will play.

In “Best of Duck” they have to race down their lane and search through the ball pit for three rubber duckies. The first to bring them back and return with the POV symbol will win. Donny is the first with the three rubber ducks and wins Power of Veto. He uses the power to save himself. Caleb nominates Nicole as a replacement.

At the second eviction the votes go as follows:

Cody votes for: Nicole
Christine votes for: Hayden
Derrick votes for: Hayden
Donny votes for: Nicole
Frankie votes for: Hayden
Zach votes for: Hayden
Victoria votes for: Hayden

With five votes Hayden is evicted from the house. Hayden tells Julie he was blindsided by his eviction. When asked about Nicole he says they’ll see what happens when the show is over. He is now the second member of the jury.
