Big Brother season 16, episode 15 just finished airing and the week 5 nominations have been revealed! Read our recap to find out what happened.
Derrick is worried that Zach could be unpredictable as HoH. He says that Amber is going to be his target for the week. Thanks to Christine he knows Amber was complaining about the boys. Donny is worried that now Brittany is gone he could be the next target.
Zankie celebrate their win. They discuss nominations and Amber immediately comes up. Zach decides to talk to Caleb about nominating Amber. He tells Caleb what Amber said to Christine. When Caleb talks to Amber about it she threatens to expose the alliance.
In the HoH room Zach finds pictures of his little brother. Frankie finds pictures of his late grandfather.
Zach tries to talk Christine into being nominated with Amber and then throwing the competition. She’s adamant that if he nominates her she will not throw it. Her reasoning is solid but Zach is annoyed and thinks she’s not pulling her weight in the alliance.
In the HoH room Cody, Amber, and Frankie share pickles making Caleb gag. She teases that she’ll go on a date with him if he eats one. Caleb steps up to the challenge and downs a pickle.
So Caleb rallies to set up a date. In the yard they share some wine. As Amber giggles he tells her he’s taking it seriously. Caleb spends most of the time talking. Amber spends most of the time wishing she wasn’t there.
Nicole comes to the HoH room and Zach talks game with her. He tells her his plan to nominate Amber and have Christine throw the comp. He says he wants to tell Nicole something. She gets nervous that Christine is in an alliance.
So Nicole goes to talk to Christine. Although Christine doesn’t confess anything she’s doesn’t hide her annoyance with Zach. Nicole leaves the talk still very unnerved.
Cody and Derrick make a final two deal. They’re worried about Zach’s erratic behavior. They decide to name themselves The Hitmen.
Donny gets the next Team America Mission. They must get two house guests to have an argument at a meeting. He tells Frankie and Derrick. They all agree it would be easy to get Zach to argue with someone.
Amber goes to talk to Zach. She says that he wishes he didn’t talk to Caleb for her. And thinks what he heard was misconstrued. She also promises that she has his back.
At the nominations ceremony Frankie goes first and nominates Jocasta and Victoria. Zach nominates Christine and Nicole. He gives his mean speech but the girls laugh it off. Christine is especially annoyed Zach seems to messing with her side alliance.
When Zach leaves Nicole dissolves to tears. She doesn’t understand his personal attack. Everyone hugs her and says to ignore it. Christine confronts Zach and he denies talking to Nicole.
At the Battle of the Block competition the teams must build a giant wedding cake. Once done they have to climb to the top and stand there for 3 seconds to win. Nicole and Christine finish first and win. That means they’re safe and Zach is dethroned. Frankie is now reigning HoH with Jocasta and Victoria still up for eviction.
