Big Brother season 16, episode 12 just finished airing and the week 4 nominations have been revealed! Read our recap to find out what happened.

The Head of Household competition continues on with several teams neck and neck. Jocasta/Brittany, Amber/Zach, and Frankie/Cody all make ways in the competition. Others like Victoria/Christine, Caleb/Nicole, and Donny/Hayden have a bit more trouble.

In the end Zach/Amber and Frankie/Cody are neck and neck. Cody and Frankie manage to finish moments before Zach and Amber with their 12th egg safely in place. Making Frankie and Caleb the two Head of Households for the fourth week.

With barely any time to spare, people start to wonder who will be nominated for the week. Brittany doesn’t feel safe. Cody and Frankie don’t feel like they have any real targets. Although, Cody still feels like he’s getting weird vibes from Caleb. But that doesn’t seem to be on Caleb’s radar who tells Derrick he thinks they’re safe.

In the HoH rooms Cody and Frankie are ecstatic to find pictures of their families. Frankie is especially happy to find his pictures of his family are from when they are kids so that Ariana isn’t recognizable. Cody laughs at his father’s letter while Frankie tears up at the letter from his sister.

When everyone else leaves the room Frankie, Cody, Zach, Derrick, Christine decide to make their alliance official and name themselves The Detonators.

Later in the yard Cody and Frankie bond over their crushes for Zac Efron. Hayden doesn’t agree that Efron’s movies are good, but does admit to having a man crush on Leonardo DiCaprio.

In the diary room Frankie gets the next mission for Team America. They must get someone who is a physical threat up on the block. He shares the mission with Derrick who agrees that Amber would be a good target for their mission. They bring it to Donny who also agrees.

Brittany pulls Frankie aside about the nominations. She shares with him that she feels Cody will nominate her because she doesn’t fawn over him. So of course Frankie immediately goes to tell Cody. Cody is less than pleased to find that Brittany thinks so low of him.

When everyone else is asleep Brittany tells Cody that she doesn’t care about the game anymore and is over it. She cites the fakeness and lies of the game. Cody confronts her about what Frankie told him but she basically denies it. He decides that she’s now a good candidate for nominations.

In the HoH room things get awkward when Cody and Amber close themselves in a room together and Caleb gets annoyed as he hangs out with Frankie in the other room. When Cody tells Amber he doesn’t want Caleb to get pissed she gets a bit annoyed. She’s clearly over Caleb acting like he has dibs on her. Again, Cody wonders if he should put Caleb up so he doesn’t have to deal with the drama.

Frankie asks Caleb how he would feel if Amber was put up. Frankie says it would look good so everyone would think the alliance was over. Even though Frankie’s clearly worried Caleb will be upset, he says that he’s over her (yeah, okay).

Since there are no have-nots the bed situation is up for grabs. The only issue is no one wants to bunk with Victoria. Apparently she’s high maintenance and keeps everyone up at night. They try to work it out so that Victoria can have her own bed but she wants to cuddle with someone. Brittany gets pissed when it looks like she’s the only one who doesn’t like to bunk with her. So Brittany decides to tell Victoria what everyone was really saying.

In order to try and decrease the blood on his hands Frankie tells Amber that he plans to nominate her. He tries to convince her it’s part of a plan but she doesn’t like it.

At the nominations ceremony Cody goes first and nominates Victoria and Brittany. Frankie goes second and nominates Amber and Jocasta. The girls are furious and Victoria is even in tears. Cody pulls Victoria aside and tells her she’s not the target. Meanwhile, Frankie and Derrick celebrate their victory for Team America. Do they include Donny in on anything?

Tired of the boys running the house, Amber decides to pull Christine aside and talk a girl alliance. Brittany and Jocasta walk in and the talk turns to Brittany’s complaints. She’s not happy to be compared to Victoria who she feels is the weakest house guest.

At the Battle of the Block the teams must move like chess pieces. When they land on a square it becomes out of play, when a player runs out of moves they are out of the game. The last team with a knight standing wins the Battle of the Block. Based on a random draw Jocasta is the first to move, Victoria second, Amber third, then Brittany.

No one seems to have a strategy except Jocasta who says she’s praying. That doesn’t work though because she’s the first out. Brittany is the next out. That leaves Victoria and Amber on the board. Amber makes a calculated move and traps Victoria.

That means that Amber and Jocasta win the Battle of the Block and are safe! Frankie is dethroned and Cody is the Head of Household.

Are you happy to see Amber and Jocasta safe on ‘Big Brother’?
