You may’ve been scrolling through your Instagram feed this morning and shockingly discovered that Beyonce cut off almost all of her hair.
Beyonce posted three of a new pixie cut to Instagram last night. She included no captions with the photos, but they were able to speak for themselves.
The hair cut is real.
Her hair has always been a signature part of her performances – she’ll frequently throw it around during songs or let cooling fans blow it out to add effect to her shows. Will she just rock her head around now?
Beyonce is largely quiet across social media save for her official Instagram which she frequently updates with behind-the-scenes looks at her life on the road.
The pop superstar is currently in the middle of a world tour. She has three summer music festival performances this month in the United Kingdom and Philadelphia. In September she’ll kick off the Latin America leg of her tour before heading to Australia and New Zealand in October and November. She’ll return to North America in late November and end her tour in late December at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
And at some point… that new album should be out. Rumors have indicated she’s still uncertain of which direction she wants to go with her latest studio work, hence the hold up.
