Beyonce is celebrating World Humanitarian Day with a new video of her 2011 song “I Was Here.”
Bey’s performance was shot Aug. 10 at the United Nations General Assembly as part of the “I Was Here” campaign to encourage the public to do something good for someone else.
World Humanitarian Day is celebrated every Aug. 19 – the anniversary of the 2003 UN headquarters bombing in Baghdad, Iraq – to honor those who sacrifice their safety to help others.
