93-year-old Betty White took the stage at the 2015 Daytime Emmy Awards ceremony to accept her very well-deserved Lifetime Achievement Award.

Sunday night’s Daytime Emmys event offered many surprises and touching moments. But perhaps the top moment of the night was when Betty White came on stage to accept her Lifetime Achievement Award.

The segment was set up like a quiz show, in recognition of White’s own extensive quiz show career.

Four celebrity guests (including Regis Philbin) with a special connection to the actress had to guess three words that defined White’s career (“legend,” “Golden” and “Cleveland”), and the show then moved into a wonderful montage of her life so far.

When Betty White herself took the stage, it was to Katy Perry’s “Firework,” and she took the opportunity to show off some sweet dance moves before giving her speech.

“Hello beautiful,” she told the statuette, adding to the audience, “I cannot tell you what this means. I have been in this business for a long time — you may not have noticed that — but when I started, 1949, I had no idea that I’d still be around at this point, for one thing, but that I’d still be privileged enough to still be in this business. And it is such a privilege.”

“And the bottom line, I think, to the television business, is that unless you’re a real bad head, it is such fun,” White finished, thanking everyone (and their mothers and fathers, and grandmothers and grandfathers) for keeping her relevant.

Congratulations to Betty White, she truly deserves this honor!
