AMC’s Breaking Bad prequel Better Call Saul is returning for its second season this February.

The network announced today that Better Call Saul season 2 will premiere Monday, February 15 at 10 p.m. eastern/pacific. The Monday time slot is the same one the series used during season 1, so AMC appears to be happy with its performance on Mondays.

As for what to expect in season 2, showrunner Peter Gould says things will be getting darker for Jimmy (Bob Odnekirk) and Mike (Jonathan Banks).

“Jimmy McGill’s journey takes surprising, left-handed turns in season two of Better Call Saul,” said Gould. “He goes to places we’d never, ever expected. As for Mike Ehrmantraut, he’s pulled deeper into a world he was sure he’d left forever. We can’t wait to share the next chapter of Better Call Saul with the fans who have embraced the show.”

The network released a new photo from season 2 today which depicts Jimmy getting in some R&R in an Albuquerque pool (above).

AMC has also released a couple of trailers for the next season of Better Call Saul, but unfortunately they’re light on new footage. As far as we can tell, all of the footage is from season 1:
