The Breaking Bad spinoff Better Call Saul has added two new cast members after a strong performance in the pilot episode.

Variety reports that Julie Ann Emery (known for Fargo, another show that featured Bob Odenkirk) and Jeremy Shamos (Birdman) have joined Saul as Betsy and Craig Kettlemen which is currently filming in New Mexico.

The two characters are reportedly “the world’s squarest outlaws” and were only slated to appear in the first episode, but after strong performances they were added throughout the season 1 scripts.

Could this duo be represented by Saul when we first meet him?

Emery and Shamos are the latest in a long line of cast additions for the new series following the life of colorful lawyer Saul Goodman. Other recent additions include Michael McKean, Rhea Seehorn, Patrick Fabian, Michael Mando, and Jonathan Banks (who is, of course, a Breaking Bad alum).

We were in Albuquerque earlier this week and kept an eye out for Better Call Saul shooting. Sadly, we saw none.

Better Call Saul premieres in February. In recent interviews, the cast and crew spoke about how exciting it is to be back in Albuquerque with the Breaking Bad family for a new drama. One crew member says in the video that there will be big surprises that fans of the original series will love.
