It’s over, dammit! Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt recently released the last half of its final season and most fans are sad to see this quirky comedy leave.

There hadn’t been a show with a premise or characters quite like these and it resonated with fans who loved its hefty wit underscored by feminist and forward-thinking ideas.

There were a plethora of hilarious moments in every single episode, but these moments are a perfect combination of fan faves alongside a few forgotten and underrated gems.

The Birth of Peeno Noir

Titus became well-known for his spectacular vocals almost immediately, but “Peeno Noir” established the trend of him creating unique songs and music videos each season. He put a completely different spin on the popular red wine by making an ode to Black men’s genitalia in the most hilarious way possible with rhyming words that make absolutely no sense.

His bright idea to grab Lillian to film outside a strip club and later inside of Jacqueline’s home is perhaps the first epic moment in Kimmy Schmidt history.

Titus’ ‘Spiderman’ audition

Did I mention how hilarious Titus Andromedon is on this show? His Spiderman musical audition is an underrated funny moment that shows him lagging behind choreography, being hoisted up with a flying rig, getting tackled by another man, and breaking out the running man when all else fails.

Of course, he didn’t get the part, but he did have a funny run-in with his arch-enemy. He kept a positive attitude and realized there was something bigger for him in the future.

Lillian vs. The Hipsters

Don’t let the hipsters get you down! Lillian’s constant preoccupation with gentrification and keeping New York weird, dirty, smelly, and scary was an ongoing storyline for the resistant-to-change landlord, but this incident was particularly funny with her yelling obscenities at strangers and adding to the graffiti scene.

She even took it up a notch later in the show’s tenure by chaining herself to construction equipment to stop development in their neighborhood. All hail the queen of New York.

The Kimmy Krew Christmas

Ahhhh, there’s nothing that will give you the feels like a Kimmy Schmidt Christmas. It’s bizarre and funny with Kimmy having sex with Dong in a police car, Jaqueline’s painting woes, Lillian’s bad ideas, Titus learning the meaning of fake Christmas, and a random appearance by Pacey.

In the end, they celebrate with music, laughter, and snow inside the apartment. No, wait, that’s actually asbestos.

Boobs In California

Everyone loves Titus’ take on Lemonade, but this song is a strong contender for one of the funniest moments in the series. His Task Rabbit adventure led him to recording the last song that anyone would expect the creator of “Peeno Noir” to sing.

He looked incredibly grossed out and terribly offended about the subject matter, but it did turn into a hit that helped him get out of a financial pit. And the music video sequence was awkward in the best away.

Titus and the Gas Sation Bathroom Key

Their apartment might be a hot mess, but apparently it was worse than what we imagined after Titus revealed that he doesn’t use the bathroom to go to the bathroom.

His dismay over the corner gas station’s new rule that only paying customers can use the toilet led to an absolutely ridiculous scheme (even for this show) to steal the bathroom key. Kimmy’s random decoy visits to the store and Titus abusing his new privilege will literally make anyone LOL.

The Great Binge Watch

This show wasn’t entirely built on outlandish shenanigans by the crew. Season 4 showed Titus, Jaqueline, and Kimmy having a chill day watching HouseFlix on the couch as Kimmy discovers the art of binging TV, which is ironic considering this is a Netflix show.

They later went out for shopping, a spa day, and brunch almost like normal people…except infinitely more funny.

The Entire Sliding Van Doors Episode

What if Kimmy never got in that van? What if Titus never went to his first The Lion King audition? This episode took an alternate peek into what all the main characters’ lives would have been like if they made a different choice in the past.

Of course, almost all of their lives seem to randomly intertwine at some point and it all ended with famine or a murderous non-cable guy. Some fans aren’t big on the few episodes that explored a timeline or events outside of the main cast, but this one was really good.

The Happy Ending For All

What else can I say? Kimmy’s book was a rousing success, Titus finally got the Broadway and acting career of his dreams along with Mikey, Lillian found a way to combine her strangeness and old-school New York philosophies for good, and Jaqueline became a high-powered agent.

There’s no way this generally sunny show could end badly, and this is about the best conclusion they could have…or is it? Show creator Tina Fey hinted that an Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt movie is a possibility, so maybe fans will be able to have one more epic adventure with this wacky group of friends.

Kimmy Schmidt’s TV story may be over, but at least it’s immortalized for fans to enjoy the funny and thoughtful moments whenever they need a dose of good in this world.
