In a bit of British perfection, The Simpsons asked actor Benedict Cumberbatch to play both Severus Snape and the British Prime Minister on this Sunday’s episode of the animated Fox hit.

Viewable below, watch as Homer realizes he needs to watch British movies (in this case he’s watching Love, Indubitably – a spin off of Love Actually) to learn how he and other married men can win back their wives. He believes following in the steps of British men who bring out their charm will help him get back with Marge. Also in this episode, Bart’s heart strings are pulled once again when Mary Spuckler returns to Springfield.

Watch below, thanks to EW:

We think Cumberbatch puts on a great Snape. If we weren’t told in advance, we’d probably assume it was Snape actor Alan Rickman himself! We believe that these couple of lines are Cumberbatch’s only dialogue in the episode. The Simpsons frequently has celebrities on their show for cameos, and the stars love to come on given the animated comedy’s deep roots in pop culture.

Cumberbatch’s next film is Star Trek Into Darkness, and yesterday we think we finally received confirmation on what villain he’s really playing. This past Sunday a new trailer for the film debuted during the Super Bowl, and features some incredibly powerful lines from the actor.

Catch this episode of The Simpsons this Sunday, February 10 on Fox. Star Trek Into Darkness opens in theaters this May.
