The ‘Being Human’ series 4 premiere is rapidly approaching and we are slowly hearing more about the new storylines.

Cultbox.co.uk interviewed both Lenora Crichlow (Annie) and new series lead Michael Socha (Tom). Michael discussed his new lead role, the new dynamic between Hal-Annie-Tom, and what it’s like to film the transformation scenes. He also said that some of his favorite scenes to film were with Russell Tovey (George):

What were you favourite scenes to film?

“My favourite scenes are in the cafe. This is the new working hub – Tom’s now got a job there and he loves it. He also introduces Hal to the cafe to get a job; he needs to get him into the real world and into society.

“And my other favourite scenes are from the first episode and filming with Russell. It’s a dark episode and I can’t say too much but there will be love, laughter, tears, new friendships, oh and more tears!”

Lenora spoke about the changes to the show, the new characters, and Annie’s journey in series 4. She said that Annie discovers her destiny in this series and that the show is returning to its “domestic” and comedic roots.

How was it returning to the role of Annie?

“I was so excited to be back! So much has changed in the show it was really exciting and I didn’t know what to expect.

“In this series we go back to more of the original comedy, relationship side of Being Human, which I have always enjoyed playing in the past. It’s a much more domestic side of the show, but it also promises all the drama and gore of the underworld as well.

In addition to those interviews, they also posted a list of episode titles. The first two episodes already have summaries, so beware of mild spoilers. Read the summaries and episode titles here.

Being Human premieres in the UK on February 5th and on February 25th in the US.
