The BBC has released a trailer showcasing all their new original dramas, and you can see clips of Quirke, Sherlock, Doctor Who, and much more!
This trailer is packed with new footage from both returning and brand new BBC drama series, and showcases just how much the British network really has to offer. Take a look at some of the actors featured in the trailer below who might look familiar:
Merlin fans will recognise both Colin Morgan and Angel Coulby in new roles; the two actors have been cast in Quirke and Dancing on the Edge respectively. Quirke also stars Gabriel Byrne and is set to premiere in the fall, whereas Dancing on the Edge is currently airing on BBC Two.
You might also spot The X-Files‘ Gillian Anderson and Once Upon a Time‘s Jamie Dornan, who both star in the new thriller The Fall, which premieres on BBC Two in April.
Former Doctor Who star David Tennant will be appearing in The Escape Artist, a legal thriller from the creator of Spooks, David Wolstencroft. Meanwhile, Cillian Murphy can be seen in the period drama Peaky Blinders.
Both Doctor Who and Sherlock are represented in the trailer as well, with a tiny bit of footage for each! And there’s so much more – we can’t even name all the shows glimpsed in this trailer.
