Your guess is as good as ours! New footage has appeared online of a Doctor Who trailer apparently confirming that “Asylum of the Daleks” will premiere in America on Sep 8.

The video was uploaded by a Facebook user, who claims that the commercial aired at 7.15am yesterday. While the footage itself is identical to that seen in previous trailers, the last few seconds declare that series 7 will begin a week later than previously assumed.

No idea what this means for the U.K. broadcast date, or if that mysterious gap in BBC America’s schedule for the 1st will be filled by something else – but it seems that both branches of the BBC can’t quite make their minds up.
