The CW’s Batwoman has found its newest season 2 cast members in actors Leah Gibson and Nathan Owens.

According to Deadline, Jessica Jones vet Leah Gibson and Devious Maids’ Nathan Owens have joined the cast of Batwoman season 2.

Both Gibson and Owens have been cast in recurring roles for the superhero drama’s second season— and the great news is, we already know who each will be playing.

First up, Gibson is set to take on the role of Tatiana, who also goes by the moniker, The Whisperer. She’s described as a skilled assassin who is “cold as ice in the face of danger.” She also happens to be in cahoots with the infamous Safiyah (Shivani Ghai).

Meanwhile, Owens will play Ocean— a loyalist soldier and fighter, who now works as a zen gardener. Ocean is described as having a complicated past, and ends up coming to Gotham in search of a fresh start.

Both Gibson and Owens join previously announced cast member. Javicia Leslie, who’s taking up the mantle as the titular Batwoman following season 1 star, Ruby Rose’s unexpected exit.

As we learned when Leslie’s casting was first announced, she’ll be playing Ryan Wilder when season 2 of Batwoman debuts.

In contrast to Rose’s Kate Kane, Ryan Wilder is described as “likable, messiah, a little goofy, and untamed.”

Per the character’s official synopsis, “Ryan is the most dangerous type of fighter: highly skilled and wildly undisciplined. An out lesbian. Athletic. Raw. Passionate. Fallible. And very much not your stereotypical All-American hero.”

Batwoman season 2 is expected to debut via The CW sometime in 2021.
