A new trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will land Wednesday, but the studio has released a trailer teaser which shows an incredibly angry Superman yanking the mask off of Batman’s head.

We didn’t expect to see any new Batman v Superman footage so soon, but it looks like we’ll be getting a full trailer Wednesday, December 2. In anticipation, the studio has released a 50 second trailer teaser which shows one pissed off Superman.

The trailer teaser premiered during Monday night’s new Gotham episode, but the full trailer will premiere tomorrow night on Jimmy Kimmel Live. It’s pretty interesting to see such a pivotal scene, where Superman may be seeing that Batman is Bruce Wayne for the first time (it’s unclear). He doesn’t exactly seem too happy with Batman at this point of the story.

There’s actually some fans who believe this will be a nightmare scene, considering just how angry the Man of Steel looks in the scene. It’s uncommon for Superman to have such a look on his face unless Zod is trying to kill his mom, like back in Man of Steel.

We’ve seen shots of Superman landing in his military lair before, so it’ll be interesting if these fan theories end up being correct about it being a nightmare for Bruce Wayne, which fuels his hatred for Superman. This could also explain why the studio felt they could release (aka spoil) such an exciting scene, as it should create some heated debates online.

We’ve also seen other shots of this Batsuit, where Batman is wearing a more rugged suit that appears to either be an early version or one used for more practical jobs than fighting crime in the city, but it appears as though he gets caught by Superman’s military, who can be seen wearing Superman’s symbol on their shoulders.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice doesn’t land until March 25, but we expect to see loads of promotion in the coming weeks after Star Wars: The Force Awakens finishes its reign at the box office over the next two months.
