Apparently it takes extra water and ice for Superman to take the ALS ice bucket challenge, as actor Henry Cavill is soaked multiple times alongside his co-star Amy Adams on the Batman v Superman’s set.

We’ve been bombarded by celebrities taking the ice bucket challenge to bring awareness to Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), often referred to as “Lou Gehrig’s Disease,” which is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord.

The challenge has gone viral and donations have risen to over $50 million, but today we have an even more exciting video as Superman actor Henry Cavill and his co-star Amy Adams take the challenge to a new level. Watch Superman get doused half a dozen times with ice water:

It’s fun to see Cavill and Adams on Batman v Superman’s set doing the challenge and we’ve been keeping up with other actors who have been using their ability to bring awareness to this deadly disease.

We got our first look at Henry Cavill’s new Superman suit just last week, but today’s video certainly gives us our best look yet. While it hasn’t changed all that much, we did notice the colors are a bit more vibrant and muscle tone has been increased.

Benedict Cumberbatch did a pretty epic ice bucket challenge, which also included him getting doused with water more than a few times, although we think Superman may have Sherlock beat (we didn’t count).

Hypable compiled some of the best videos we’d seen so far near the beginning of the viral videos, so be sure to check out some of our favorites.

How great would it have been had Ben Affleck walked up behind them in the Batsuit for the first time and poured water on Henry Cavill? The internet might have exploded.
