Empire’s new cover features Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, with Batman towering over Superman and looking insanely massive compared to the man of steel.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is still eight months away from its release, but it’s getting all the magazine covers lately. Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman were featured on EW’s cover recently, and now Batman and Superman are featured on Empire’s latest issue.

We’ve included the image without the lettering in order to get a better look at just how massive Batman looks compared to Superman. While there’s definitely some padding going on here, he’s said to tower over Superman in the film.

In the issue, director Zack Snyder reveals that he believes Batman has gravitas and is operatic. He also says people are questioning whether Superman is a tyrant, so some people love him and some people hate him. That’s the core of the film, whether Superman is on Earth for good, which is where Batman will come in.

Director Zack Snyder, and the film’s stars Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill, appeared in Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con a few weeks ago for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. WB revealed a new trailer for the film, which was praised by fans of the upcoming movie.

Other images we’ve seen from the film are posters that Snyder released of Batman and Superman, and the studio obviously hopes to get fans rooting for either Batman or Superman. We can’t wait to find out where they’ve decided to go in this film’s story, which will reportedly follow The Dark Knight Returns’ comic storyline.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’s release date is set for March 25, 2016. Man of Steel actor Henry Cavill will return to co-star with Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, and Amy Adams as Lois Lane.
