What will Barbra Streisand be singing at the Academy Awards when she takes the stage for the first time in over 30 years to belt out a tune?

E! Online learned that the legendary singer will perform during the “In Memoriam” segment. She will sing “The Way We Were,” according to a tweet from writer Mark Malkin.

Thanks to the magic of YouTube, you can watch a classic 1975 live performance of this song below.

Streisand’s last Oscar performance was with the song “A Star Is Born” on the 1977 telecast. She won the Best Original Song Oscar for “Evergreen” that same night.

“In an evening that celebrates the artistry of movies and music,” said producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron when they announced Streisand’s involvement in the 2013 ceremony, “how could the telecast be complete without Barbra Streisand? We are honored that she has agreed to do a very special performance on this year’s Oscars, her first time singing on the show in 36 years.”

Streisand has won two Oscars over her career: her first was for Best Actress in Funny Girl in 1968, and her second for “Evergreen” as mentioned above.

The Academy Awards will be broadcast live on ABC this Sunday at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. The ceremony will be hosted by Seth MacFarlane. We will have complete coverage of the event as it’s happening, thanks in part to our reporter at the ceremony!
