Grammy winner Bad Bunny will soon be sharing the big screen with Brad Pitt.

According to Deadline, Grammy Award winning recording artist Bad Bunny is the latest big name to join the cast of Sony Pictures’ Bullet Train.

Based on the Japanese novel Maria Beetle by author Kotaro Isaka, the popular book tells the story of a group of hitmen and assassins, all of whom have conflicting motives, and who also happen to be traveling aboard the same train to Tokyo.

Academy Award winner Brad Pitt is set to star in the upcoming action thriller as an American hitman named Ladybug.

Bad Bunny is the latest celebrity to join the cast of the upcoming adaptation.

Others who will be joining the recording artists and Pitt as part of the film’s ensemble cast include Joey King, Aaron Taylor Johnson, Brian Tyree Henry, Zazie Beetz, Michael Shannon, Logan Lerman, Masi Oka, and Andrew Koji.

Still unclear is how big of a role Bad Bunny will play in the action thriller, which means fans will have to sit tight as we wait on more details.

Bullet Train isn’t lacking in star power behind the camera either.

The task of helming the adaptation will fall to David Leitch, who is no stranger to the action movie genre. Leitch’s most recent credits include spearheading Fast and Furious offshoot, Hobbs & Shaw starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Jason Statham.

In addition to directing, Leitch will also be supervising the script, which will be penned by Fear Street scribe Zak Olkewicz.

Currently, there’s no word on when we can expect to see Bullet Train speed on to the big screen.
