If you’ve seen Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, then you’ll remember the dancing baby Groot scene which had everyone laughing in theaters. Marvel has officially released the clip for us to watch again.

It has become one of the most talked about scenes from Guardians of the Galaxy and because of that Marvel have decided to give us a chance to watch the official version (via Yahoo! Movies).

Groot (voiced by Vin Diesel) heroically sacrificed himself in an attempt to save the lives of the rest of the Guardians gang. But we find out pretty quickly when Rocket grabs a piece of Groot that’s left that he can actually regrow himself.

So when Rocket places him in a pot we see in the mid-credits scene that baby Groot is dancing to the Jackson 5’s “I Want You Back” in the hilarious scene above.

Director James Gunn says, “It was initially written as a tag for the very end of the film, but after we shot it, it worked so well I wanted to put it at the actual end of the film so none of the audience would miss it.”

He also explained the song choice, saying, “‘I Want You Back’ is my favorite pop song ever,” and that the dance moves seen are actually based on his own movements. He filmed them himself and sent them to the animators.

Of course, when Drax looks over at him he stops dancing, then continues as soon as Drax looks away again. It got some of the biggest laughs and tugged on the heartstrings of fans that were hopeful to see Groot back for Guardians of the Galaxy 2, which we recently found out will be hitting theaters July 28, 2017.

Director James Gunn will be back for the sequel and recently announced via an interview that the sequel would focus on Star-Lord’s father and will have an appearance from Thanos, Marvel’s biggest villain which had a few brief moments in the first film.

Do you want a dancing baby Groot for your desk as much as we do?
