Comedy Central’s Awkwafina Is Nora From Queens is a show about Awkwafina struggling with and trying to figure out the complexities of adulting.

Awkwafina’s 2020 is looking to be just as booked and busy as her last two years.

The breakout comedic star of 2018’s Crazy Rich Asians followed up that hit with a role in the all-female reboot Ocean’s 8 and the indie hit The Farewell. She’ll also be in the upcoming Jumanji sequel, and is set to have a role in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings as well as the live-action remake of The Little Mermaid.

However, it looks like the comedienne won’t be depriving TV of her talents, as she will have a Comedy Central show that is loosely based on her own life and experiences. Awkwafina will star in and executive produce the 10-episode series, and also co-wrote the pilot with Karey Dornetto and Teresa Hsiao.
