Writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely will follow up Captain America: Civil War with Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 & 2.

The screenplay duo who wrote Captain America: The First Avenger, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and the upcoming Captain America: Civil War will be teaming up again for The Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 & 2. They’ll be teaming up with the Russo brothers, who directed The Winter Soldier, and are currently filming Civil War.

Marvel officially announced that Civil War was starting filming today, and also revealed that the cast is pretty massive, including many of the characters from Age of Ultron, including quite a few new superheroes.

Now the studio has officially announced that the writers responsible for The Winter Soldier will also be penning the screenplay for the upcoming two-part Infinity War films.

Marvel President Kevin Feige says, “Chris and Steve have been an integral part of the Marvel family since the early days of Phase 1, and their work speaks for itself. We couldn’t be more excited to have them with us to help guide the Avengers through their biggest story yet.”

Speaking of the two-part film, it was announced earlier today that the entire film will be shot with IMAX cameras, which should give the films an entirely new and epic look.

Markus and McFeely also created ABC’s Agent Carter, and co-wrote Thor: The Dark World. Other notable films include Michael Bays’ Pain & Gain, and we couldn’t be more excited to find out that the writers responsible for Captain America: Civil War will be in charge of the story for The Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 & 2.
