Avengers: Infinity War is promising to be chock full of Marvel superheroes, and Groot voice actor Vin Diesel confirms the Guardians will be there.

There are two more Avengers films left (for now), the first of which owns the title Infinity War while the second is still unknown. We don’t know much about either of these movies, though the title of Infinity War does give us an idea of what direction they’ll be going in.

As with all Avengers movies, there will be plenty of characters showing up in both of these films, and with the Marvel universe expanding exponentially lately, the true question is which heroes will make the cut. The core team is always a given, but what about everybody else?

Rumors abound given there are supposed to be 60+ characters in Infinity War, but we now have confirmation of one group of characters who will definitely be showing up — the Guardians of the Galaxy.

During a Facebook Live chat sharing an award from the website for having 100 million followers, Diesel announces the news regarding his Marvel character. You can catch the moment when the clock hits about the -7:21 mark over on the right hand side.

“The Guardians will be included in Avengers: Infinity War,” Diesel says, “and that’s incredibly exciting.”

Guardians of the Galaxy, released in 2014, starred Chris Pratt as Star Lord, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax, Vin Diesel as Groot, and Bradley Cooper as Rocket.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will be released on May 5, 2017. Avengers: Infinity War will be released on May 4, 2018.
