The Avengers have been through a lot, both together and on their own, and in their biggest battle yet, Avengers: Endgame will be like nothing before.

As we creep ever closer to the premiere date of Avengers: Endgame, we’re being bombarded with more and more stories that this movie will be unlike anything we’ve seen in the MCU to date. As our heroes work to restore the world, they’ll be faced with bigger challenges, more heartbreaking realities, and will have to show strength like never before.

The surviving heroes talked about Endgame and how this movie will be the “finest hours” for the Avengers in a new featurette. While the video doesn’t really give us any new glimpses into the movie, it does do a great job building anticipation for the movie.

Marvel has done a great job of building anticipation for this movie, and this new featurette addresses something really important about Endgame. If you think you know what is going to happen next, and you think you know how the Avengers are going to fix what Thanos destroyed, think again.

Obviously, with all of the fan theories out there surrounding this movie and how things are going to go down, it’s pretty likely that at least a few fan theories prove true. But this featurette just reminds us all of why we love Marvel so much: the team behind the MCU work tirelessly to not only create a fun, expansive universe but to also tell us stories that whisk us away and keep us guessing.

The first clip from Endgame was also released on Monday. In it, Captain Marvel explains why she’s just showing up now, and there’s a funny moment in which Thor sizes her up:

This is a huge moment for the Avengers and the MCU as a whole, and as Robert Downey Jr. says in the featurette, it is the Avengers’ “finest hour.” We cannot wait to see how this team of heroes bands together to put the earth back together after Thanos’ devastation.

Happily, we don’t have to wait too long to see how the movie shakes out. Avengers: Endgame opens in movie theaters everywhere on April 26, and tickets are on sale now.
