We’ll continue to add posters to this article as they premiere. It looks like Disney will release one character per day.

Original story (February 25): The first official poster for Avengers: Age of Ultron was a bit underwhelming, as it looked like a fan got a hold of it and photoshopped the Avengers into place, but now Robert Downey Jr. has tweeted a new official poster with his own character front and center.

Within his tweet, which includes the new poster below, the Iron Man actor said that fans should expect a “big announcement” in exactly eight days. This would put the exciting announcement on next Thursday, March 5. See the tweet below, as well as the new poster from Avengers: Age of Ultron.

We’re not sure what could be happening on March 5, but Robert Downey Jr. says we should “get excited.” We have to imagine it’s a new trailer or possibly a new character poster each day until the studio releases a final trailer for The Avengers’ sequel.

With all the talk about the recasting of Spider-Man, and the fact that he’ll most likely be appearing in Civil War, could the announcement be a confirmation that the web-slinger will be joining Cap and Iron Man? It’s hard to know, but we’ll be wondering over the next week what the actor is set to reveal.

Marvel has been able to keep a lot of things under wraps for this film, which is unusual, as we don’t even have a first official look at The Vision, other than the newly released concept art and other images that have been leaked by merchandising companies. Maybe he’ll be giving us our first official look at The Vision next week.

The Avengers: Age of Ultron U.S. release date is set for May 1, 2015, with its follow-up being Avengers: Infinity War, which has been split into two parts and will be directed by Anthony and Joe Russo.
