We’ve seen Avengers: Age of Ultron trailers, but now we have new images featuring all of the Avengers in the upcoming sequel on Empire magazine’s latest cover.

Empire always has some great shots of the biggest films of the year, and today’s is no different, as The Avengers: Age of Ultron cast is front and center on their new cover. Ultron gets his own cover, and The Vision is missing altogether.

Update: Marvel have released the official image used for the magazine’s cover which can now be seen in HD below:

Ultron continues to look incredibly imposing in this image, and in Age of Ultron’s second trailer, we see the Avengers seemingly battling each other after Ultron says he’s going to tear them apart, “from the inside out.”

There had been rumors that Ultron takes over the Hulk at one point, but later found out via some LEGO descriptions that (spoiler) Scarlet Witch is actually who takes over the Hulk during the fight scene. Tony Stark will be using his Hulkbuster suit to battle the Scarlet Witch-controlled Hulk when the film hits theaters.

We’re absolutely loving the gang being all together in this new cover image (minus The Vision), as we know they’ll be ripped apart by Ultron for Captain America: Civil War’s storyline. We’ll be updating this post throughout the day with additional images, including new Age of Ultron cast interviews from the latest issue of Empire, so be sure to check back later.

The Avengers: Age of Ultron’s first trailer was incredibly well received, with a much darker tone than expected, and the second trailer followed a similar path when it was released two weeks ago. Director Joss Whedon has explained that the sequel will still have its comedic elements, similar to the first film, despite the ominous tone we’ve witnessed so far.

Expect to see an enormous amount of new promotion for Avengers: Age of Ultron during the next few months, as we approach the film’s worldwide release. The Avengers’ sequel may be the most anticipated sequel of all time, especially for Marvel fans, and the studio will be going all out with Age of Ultron promotion over the next few weeks.

The Avengers: Age of Ultron will be released in theaters on May 1, 2015, with its follow-up being Avengers: Infinity War, which has been split into two parts and will be directed by Anthony and Joe Russo.
