Though fans of Nickelodeon’s Avatar series have been looking forward to seeing Legend of Korra premiere in 2012, recent rumblings around the internet have suggested that the show had been pushed to 2013.

We asked Nickelodeon for a comment on the matter.

Unfortunately they could only tell us that the network has not yet confirmed a premiere date. The good news here is that the 2013 pushback may not be set, and therefore a 2012 release could still be possible.

Regardless, Avatar fans are going to have to wait quite a bit longer.
