This week’s Fandom Fix focuses on an Avatar: The Last Airbender-themed bracelet and the coolest Harry Potter-inspired potion you’ll ever see.

Fandom Fix is a weekly feature article written by Donya Abramo and Karen Rought. With every installment, the duo picks out a fandom-related item they’ve recently come across and describes it in loving detail. There are no product placements here. We only talk about items we’re excited to share with the rest of the world.

You can get your Fandom Fix in a variety of ways, be it jewelry, clothing, games, or something else entirely. We strive to remain unbiased, and we plan on constantly expanding our own horizons as we search for new and interesting pieces. The only requirement is that it must give us the burning need to open our wallets and throw money at its creator.

With the ReWatchable podcast returning for its second outing in the Avatar universe, I figured that a related product to complement it would be a no-brainer for this week.

These leather wrap bracelets are perfect for any Avatar fan — and a nice visual representation of your membership to the Order of the White Lotus. The pendant is made of wood and etched with a laser, so they’re incredibly accurate.

And if, like me, you have pretty tiny wrists… the bracelets are adjustable!

Bracelets not your thing? The White Lotus tile is also available in a necklace and key chain version. Or you could get all three to really show your support for the Order.

Tell me this is not the coolest flippin’ Harry Potter potion you’ve ever seen.

My pick is for Veritaserum. First of all, the bottle is a beautiful, tall creation that looks like it’s right off Professor Snape’s shelf. The label looks aged and sports fancy script, giving this a definitive Old World vibe. The fact that it’s also sealed with wax, corked, and has a castle/Hogwarts charm only adds to its authenticity. Though this potion is generally difficult to brew, someone obviously has the recipe down pat.

But let’s talk about the real highlight here. The potion changes colors. It’s colorless to begin with (in true Veritaserum fashion), but when you shake it up, it becomes opaque and pearlescent. If you weren’t convinced before, that has to get you on board. It. Changes. Colors.

The seller has a whole slew of potions in different bottles of all shapes, many of which make more startling changes from one color to the next when you shake them up. The price is not overly expensive, making it easy to collect a group of these to put on display so you can pretend you’re a true Potions Master.
