Disney Animation is bringing a little more Olaf into the world for Frozen fans to enjoy far and wide.

On Monday (April 6), Disney Animation took to Twitter to debut the first in a series of Olaf-centric shorts, featuring everyone’s favorite warm hugs-loving snowman.

Aptly titled At Home With Olaf, the series of shorts was created by Hyrum Osmond, who animated the character for both Frozen and it’s hit sequel, Frozen II.

In addition to Osmond, actor Josh Gad is also on board to return to lend his voice to the beloved character for the digital series. Of course, since we’re all practicing social distancing in the time of COVID-19, both Osmond and Gad worked on the digital series from their respective homes.

“Starting this week, enjoy an all-new original Disney Animation digital series with everyone’s favorite snowman,” tweeted Disney Animation. “#AtHomeWithOlaf created at home by Hyrum Osmond. Voiced from home by Josh Gad. #DisneyMagicMoments”

In addition, Gad himself took to Twitter to shed a bit more light on his involvement with the new digital series. In a Twitter live show, the actor explained that Frozen helmer Jennifer Lee (who also serves as the head of Disney Animation) called to clue him in on the proposed digital series.

“[Jennifer Lee and Hyrum Osmond] called me and they said they were doing to do these little shorts— these animated shorts from home,” explained Gad. “They asked me if I, in turn, would provide vocal assistance and voice Olaf. So I did. It was a bit of a challenge because I’m not very good technically, and now, we’re releasing Olaf shorts…to hopefully put a smile on your face every day.”

We’re sure At Home With Olaf will indeed put a smile on the faces of Frozen fans far and wide!
