This week’s Arrowverse episodes were Supergirl 3×11 “Fort Rozz,” The Flash 4×11 “The Elongated Knight Rises,” Black Lightning 1×01 “LaWanda: The Book of Hope,” and Arrow 6×11 “We Fall.” We recap the week in CW superheroes!

‘Supergirl’ 3×11 ‘Fort Rozz’

To confront a dark priestess, Jindah Kol Rozz, who knows about Reign, Kara must head to Fort Rozz, which is now orbiting a blue star. Exposure to that star is poisonous to males, so it is a female-only mission. However, Kara gets her powers from our yellow star, so she’ll be powerless. After Imra volunteers to accompany her, Kara recruits Livewire and Psi.

Thanks to the Legion’s ship, they reach Fort Rozz quickly. They run into an inhabitant who tells them how to find Jindah Kol Rozz because she expects them to die. Suddenly, however, a solar flare hits the ship, which is docked to the prison.

The ship is being pulled into the star, so Imra and Psi stay behind to try to stop their descent. Kara and Livewire head back to Fort Rozz but are separated. Kara finds herself face-to-face with Jindah Kol Rozz. The priestess declares that Kara is going to lose someone and reveals that there are other Worldkillers. But Reign arrives and kills her.

Livewire then arrives and fights Reign since Kara can’t. She takes a fatal blow to protect Kara just as Psi comes in and hits Reign with a psychic attack. For a moment, Reign sees Ruby crying and reverts to Samantha before becoming Reign again and fleeing.

Meanwhile, Alex babysits Ruby and the two bond. When Samantha returns and hears that she was supposed to be on a business trip, she confides in Alex that she’s losing time. And a second Worldkiller awakens her abilities.

‘The Flash’ 4×11 ‘The Elongated Knight Rises’

Barry counts the days of his imprisonment. Iris visits him every day and promises that they’re trying to get him out. He’s not using his abilities because there are so many cameras. But when he runs afoul of some other prisoners, he’s rescued by Goldberg Big Sir, an inmate Henry Allen helped when he had appendicitis. When those inmates later gang up on Big Sir, Barry uses his powers to stop the fight. In doing so, he earns Big Sir’s friendship.

Meanwhile, Axel Walker (Trickster 2.0) escapes prison with the help of his mother, Zoey Clark (Prank). Axel wants to see his father, but Zoey says James Jesse isn’t interested in being a family. After seeing Ralph on the news for helping foil a bank robbery, Axel decides to kill the new hero in Central City to get his father’s attention.

Ralph has the upper hand until Axel sprays him with acid that burns even him. This realization that he’s not invulnerable spooks Ralph, and he quits. As Killer Frost, Vibe and Harry try to stop the tricksters, Ralph visits Barry. He wants to break Barry out, but Barry gives Ralph a pep talk, inspiring Ralph to get back into the field. He gets a new suit just in time, as Killer Frost and Vibe are trapped with power-dampening cuffs.

Ralph knocks Axel out, but Prank releases the acid. Ralph selflessly protects Caitlin and Cisco, but there’s no pain because Harry made the special ingredient inert. Axel and Zoey head back to prison, and Barry waits.

‘Black Lightning’ 1×02 ‘LaWanda: The Book of Hope’

Jefferson isn’t convinced he should continue being Black Lightning now that his daughters have been rescued, but they aren’t as safe as he thought since both Will and Lala are free. Lala even sends his young protege to threaten Jennifer with a water pistol.

Jefferson learns that the Seahorse Motel is back in business, and he meets LaWanda, one of his former students whose daughter has been prostituted by The 100. LaWanda demands to know why Black Lightning only saved Jefferson’s daughters, which hits Jefferson hard. Later, LaWanda confronts Lala, who coldly murders her. However, she was recording on her phone.

It’s not even Lala’s first murder of the episode, as he coldly executed Will for his incompetence with the Pierce girls.

Jefferson is devastated and doesn’t believe he is doing enough good as principal; Freeland clearly needs Black Lightning. He decides to suit up again, and Lynn is devastated. Black Lightning goes after Lala, though the cops also show up because of the video and arrest Lala.

That night, Tobias enters the jail and strangles Lala.

Meanwhile, we learn that Anissa has a girlfriend she’s been seeing for a year but has commitment issues. And she breaks up a robbery at a drug store with her super strength.

‘Arrow’ 6×11: ‘We Fall’

Cayden James takes control of Internet-connected devices in Star City, and several people, including Captain Pike, are killed. James blackmails Oliver for $10 million a day. Oliver tries to keep order as mayor, setting up analog safe zones patrolled by SCPD, while managing the chaos as Green Arrow. Diggle also gets a new suit since he’s not going to be Green Arrow when Original Team Arrow is so small.

When the tunnel William’s bus is in is attacked, Green Arrow and Guardian head to the scene. Green Arrow rescues William, who helped save the rest of his class before getting trapped by debris, but William realizes Oliver has been lying about not being Green Arrow.

Meanwhile, New Team Arrow is also trying to help. Vince tells Curtis he’s a double agent trying to take down James. He gives Curtis intel on an attack on the subway as proof. NTA stops trains from crashing, but there is conflict when Curtis reveals where he got the information.

But when Vince sends another warning about James’ men attacking a safe zone, NTA calls in OTA for backup. Vince even shoots one of James’ men to save Rene, proving that he was telling the truth, much to Dinah’s relief.

Back in the bunker, William broods about Oliver’s lies, but Felicity gives him an inspirational talk about the importance of what Oliver does, and William is convinced. When Oliver later calls a family meeting and offers to quit being Green Arrow again, William gives his blessing for his dad to continue being a hero.

And the team learns that James’ vendetta is unfounded, as Oliver was recruiting Dinah on the day James says his son died. But Oliver still wires James the $10 million to buy time for Star City.
