‘Scandal’

Abby Whelan: “I’m not asking the commander-in-chief. I’m asking the married man who used to sleep with my friend what exactly he has done with the man she is currently sleeping with.”

In a moment of epic amazingness, Abby tells-off the president in order to protect Olivia.

‘Revenge’

Daniel Grayson: “You won’t hear from her. She’s gonna keep working this three-ring circus like P.T. Barnum in stilettos.”

Daniel informs Margaux that getting a scoop, exclusive , or pretty much anything printable, isn’t going to happen. Doesn’t she realize who she’s dealing with?.

‘Doctor Who’

Doctor: “Yes, well there are some things I have not seen. That’s usually because I have chosen not to see them. Even my incredibly long life is too short for Les Miserables.”

The Doctor lets Clara know that even as long as he has lived, he still hasn’t seen everything. In this case, he’s never seen a planet consumed by a forest overnight.

On page 2: ‘The Walking Dead,’ ‘Once Upon a Time,’ and ‘American Horror Story’

‘The Walking Dead’

Bob Stookey: “Tainted meat! You eating tainted meat!”

In an intense scene, ripped almost directly from the comics, Bob lets Gareth and his followers know that by cooking and eating him they may have poisoned themselves since he was bitten by a zombie earlier in the day.

‘Once Upon a Time’

David-Prince Charming: “If we fall through a portal to Asgard, wherever we are she will be able to reach us.”

Sure there were a lot of plot advancing lines, shocking reveals, and sass strewn from Will Scarlet, but none of them quite hit a chord in the fandom as David’s reference to Asgard. Josh Dallas played Fandral in the first Thor movie and the reference made everyone speculate about some connection to Norse mythology, but perhaps it was nothing more than a clever jibe at his past gig.

‘American Horror Story’

Twisty: “They don’t even know us. If they just got to know us they would know we are just like them.”

This week’s American Horror Story explored the past of the season’s most terrifying silent figure, Twisty the killer clown. Creating a sympathetic back story for such a cruel and looming presence on the show was no easy task, but with a few simple lines of dialogue delivered by the clown through half a face, a small sense of catharsis rose for the villain.

On page 3: ‘Arrow’, ‘The Flash,’ and ‘Supernatural’

‘Arrow’

Nyssa al Ghul: “My father may be the demon, but yours is the devil.”

Nyssa clearly thinks Thea’s father, Malcolm Merlyn, is worse than her own, DC legendary baddie Ra’s al Ghul. On a scale of one to 10, that’s about a 15. In other words, pretty bad.

‘The Flash’

Felicity Smoak: “I want to see it…and by ‘it’ I mean your speed. In case you thought I was talking about something else. Which I was not.”

Felicity, as usual, sticks her foot in her mouth while telling Barry why she’s in Central City.

‘Supernatural’

Dean Winchester: “I never even said ‘Thank you.’ So…”
Sam Winchester: “You don’t ever have to say that. Not to me.”

The Winchester brothers share a surprising heart-to-heart in the wake of Sam curing Dean of being a demon.

‘How To Get Away With Murder’

Asher Millstone: “And you guys call me immature? I’m like the most grown up grown-up ever compared to your dumb asses.”

Asher thinks that the team have stolen his immunity trophy, and won’t let him in the house to claim it. Actually, we have no idea if they stole it, but it’s likely the murder weapon used on Annalise’s husband, whose body is on the floor. The reality is that the team is just trying to save their collective asses and not involve another person.

‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’

Agent Ward: “I thought we were rebuilding trust, Coulson. I can help you. I’m still part of your team.”
Agent Coulson: “My team? You thi… you are not, nor will you ever be “on my team.” You dropped FitzSimmons out of a plane, you murdered Victoria Hand and Eric Koenig. You betrayed every one of us, you deluded son of a bitch! The only reason you’re alive is because you were of use. And the only reason you’re being transferred is because your brother is of more use.”

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. fans have had to wait six episodes to see Coulson give the former agent Ward a piece of his mind – but boy, was it worth it. In a brief, blistering speech, the Director echoed the thoughts of many fans, and cut to the heart of Ward’s betrayal. Aside from being gratifying to hear, Coulson’s biting words reassured fans that, even if Ward eventually returns to the light, the show hasn’t forgotten just how much darkness he has to make up for.
