Tahmoh Penikett, of Battlestar Galactica and Dollhouse fame, has joined the cast of the CW’s new show Arrow.
Penikett will play Tom Salvati, the right-hand-man of mob boss Frank Bertinelli (played by Jeffrey Nordling). Bernitelli will be one of the main villains of season 1. Bernitelli’s daughter is Helena Bertinelli (Jessica De Gouw). Comic fans know her better as The Huntress.
This is good news for fans of Battlestar Galatica and Dollhouse, as Penikett will bring some more credibility to the show and we’re excited to see him as Salvati.

According to the CW, Arrow focuses on the life of billionaire playboy Oliver Queen, who returns home after being shipwrecked for several years. The experience of having to survive rendered Queen a significantly changed man. The once carefree, spoiled, and thoughtless Oliver Queen creates an alter-ego of Arrow, a vigilante who fights with a bow and arrow (hence the series name) who rights the wrongs of his hometown of Starling City.

John Barrowman, most famous for his role as Captain Jack Harkness from Doctor Who and Torchwood, will be joining Arrow and will be playing the role of a “well-dressed man” who is “as mysterious as he is wealthy… He is an acquaintance of the Queen family and a prominent figure in Starling City.”
