Good news, Olicity fans! The Arrow series finale will mark the return (and final appearance) of Emily Bett Rickards as fan favorite Felicity.

Those Arrow fans who have been missing their Olicity content in this final season will get to see their faves one more time before they have to say goodbye to their favorite show.

Emily Bett Rickards was a part of Arrow since the early episodes of season 1, and left the show at the end of the seventh season.

In the season 7 finale’s flash-forwards, Felicity helped her children, William, played by Ben Lewis, and Mia, played by Katherine McNamara, save Star City 2040, and then departed with the Monitor, who took her wherever Oliver went after he presumably died working for him many years earlier.

Not having Felicity around was a major change for the final season of Arrow, with Stephen Amell in particular admitting that it didn’t feel great doing the last 10 episodes without her and that “it’s a different show in season 8.”

So, he’s likely thrilled to be able to see and work with his onscreen wife one more time before he bows out of the role.

Stephen Amell announced on Twitter earlier today that she would be back for the final episode. Check out the tweet below!

Though she had been initially brought onto Arrow as a one-off character with a minor role in the show’s third episode, her chemistry with star Stephen Amell and her popularity with the fans was so great that producers decided to keep her on the show.

As a tech geek and hacker genius, Felicity was brought into the Arrow team fold and ended up as one of the most integral members of Team Arrow. Her will-they-won’t-they dynamic with Stephen Amell’s Oliver Queen was eventually resolved into a firm yes, they will, ending in marriage to the vigilante.

“We couldn’t be happier or more thrilled. No other way to do our finale,” Arrow consulting producer Marc Guggenheim likewise tweeted shortly after the news broke. “You’ll find our about more old friends returning in the coming weeks…”

Arrow airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on The CW.
