Casting continues for the upcoming season of Arrow, as Josh Segarra and Madison Madison McLaughlin have been tapped for season 5.

Segarra will play Adrian Chase, Star City’s new district attorney and ally of Star City’s mayor, Oliver Queen, reports Deadline. However, while Adrian tries to clean up the city through the legal system, he also has a masked identity as Vigilante. Segarra will be a series regular in Arrow season 5.

In the DC Comics, Adrian Chase serves as district attorney of Manhattan who works with the New Teen Titans to dismantle the city’s mafia. But when his wife and children are killed by a bomb planted by a member of the mob, he takes to the streets on his own, taking the name Vigilante. His struggle with the contradictory nature of his life as both attorney and vigilante, however, eventually pushes him to take his own life.

Segarra’s credits include the television series Chicago P.D. and Sirens as well as the film Trainwreck.

Additionally, McLaughlin, who appeared in Arrow season 4, episode 19, “Canary Cry,” as Evelyn Sharp, a young woman whose family was killed by Damien Darhk. She masqueraded as the Black Canary after Laurel’s death in an attempt to kill those allied with Darhk, but the Green Arrow eventually talked her down. She fled, leaving her whereabouts unknown, though not before attending Laurel’s funeral from the shadows.

Now, Evelyn will return for multiple episodes beginning in Arrow season 5, episode 2. She will be forging her own vigilante identity as an archer known as Artemis, reports Variety.

In the DC Comics, Artemis is the daughter of villains Tigress and Sportsmaster, and she followed in her parents’ footsteps as a criminal. In the animated series Young Justice, however, Artemis remains the daughter of villains but is a hero.

Arrow season 5 premieres Wednesday, October 5 at 8:00 p.m. ET on The CW.
