A new Arrow season 3 promo that has been airing on television for a few days has made its way online.
The promo features some footage we’ve already seen as well as some new shots of The Arrow doing some killer stunts as well as an exiting teaser for Olicity fans:
In this teaser, not only do we see familiar footage of Peter Stormare as the new Count Vertigo and the return of Sara Lance’s Canary, we also get glimpses of Laurel confronting a patient in the hospital, Thea training, and Malcolm drawing a bow.
The Arrow weaves in and out of the trailer with some intense stunts — from running through the woods to jumping onto a moving truck and riding on the truck through an explosion.
And then there is the kiss. That’s right, Olicity fans — Oliver and Felicity do indeed share a kiss in the promo.
We may be a little over a month away from the season 3 premiere, but there has been plenty of news to keep fans excited. Season 3 will see a number of new characters, including Cupid (Amy Gumenick), Komodo (Matt Ward), Manhunter (David Cubitt), Wildcat (J.R. Ramirez), Katana (Rila Fukushima), and Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh).
Felicity is also slated to have a character-centric episode, titled “The Secret Origin of Felicity Smoak,” that will feature her mother (Charlotte Ross) and her ex-boyfriend from MIT (Nolan Funk).
Also set to feature heavily in season 3 is Ra’s al Ghul. However, there has been no news on who will play the legendary DC Comics villain yet.
Arrow season 3 premieres Wednesday, October 8 at 8:00 p.m. ET on The CW.
