We’re still months away from the new season of Arrow, but casting calls are out for four new recurring characters.

Arrow‘s second season saw the departure of several recurring characters, and now the show is beginning to repopulate. First, John Barrowman (Malcolm Merlyn) was promoted to series regular, and now Arrow is looking for four new characters, according to TVLine.

‘Daniel’

The first character on the casting call is named Daniel, though that may be a fake name. This major recurring character is in his 20s and is described as “handsome, enigmatic” as well as being a “highly intelligent entrepreneur developing groundbreaking technology.”

While Daniel “exud[es] charm and confidence in public, he privately harbors a tragic past that will drive him to become a tech-powered superhero.” He is also expected to be a love interest for Felicity and a rival for Oliver on both the personal and professional fronts.

‘Seth’

Seth is described as “[a] well-educated criminal with grand ambitions and a knack for chemistry.” He “gains power over his enemies by exposing them to a drug that drains their willpower,” though is also “very much a physical match for The Arrow.” This is a potentially recurring role.

Toshi

Toshi will majorly recur in at least the Hong Kong flashbacks set up in the season 2 finale. He is “Oliver’s teacher and handler,” though will “eventually become a friend.” Toshi is described as “[a] well-trained operative, skilled in weaponry, combat and intelligence gathering” as well as “a devoted father and husband.”

Akiko

The final role is that of Akiko, Toshi’s wife and “another of Oliver’s Hong Kong caretakers.” Like her husband, Akiko “is herself highly skilled in martial arts.”

Arrow returns to Wednesdays at 8:00 p.m. ET on The CW this fall.
