The synopsis, promotional stills, and sneak peek from Arrow season 2, episode 13 “Heir to the Demon” introduce the daughter of Ra’s al Ghul, Nyssa.

After Roy was unresponsive to the Arrow’s training methods, the Arrow took Roy out to stop Bronze Tiger from stealing a prototype earthquake machine. But when Roy allowed Bronze Tiger to escape, Oliver was forced to reveal his identity to Roy. Together they destroyed the prototype, and Oliver introduced Roy to Felicity and Diggle, making him an official member of Team Arrow.

Meanwhile, Walter convinced Moira to run for mayor against Sebastian Blood, and Laurel continued spiraling. In the wake of a night of heavy drinking after learning she was being disbarred, Laurel found herself face-to-face with Sara. Read our recap of last week’s episode, “Tremors,” here.

The official synopsis for Arrow season 2, episode 13 “Heir to the Demon” reads:

ALEX KINGSTON AND KATRINA LAW (“SPARTACUS”) GUEST STAR — As Laurel (Katie Cassidy) continues to unravel, Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Lance (Paul Blackthorne) try to convince Sara (guest star Caity Lotz) to stay in Starling City and finally reunite with Laurel and Dinah (guest star Alex Kingston). However, Sara’s fellow League of Assassins member, Nyssa (guest star Katrina Law, “Spartacus”), comes to bring Sara back to the fold, but when Sara refuses, Nyssa kidnaps Dinah. Realizing she’s putting her family in danger by staying in town, Sara considers re-joining the league. Wendey Stanzler directed the episode written by Jake Coburn (#213).

Meanwhile, promotional stills for the episode show a Lance family flashback as well as a confrontation between Sara and Nyssa, who has come to Starling for Sara.

Finally, a clip from the episode shows a flashback to a happy, complete Lance family. Judging by the text message Sara receives from Oliver, though, it looks like it may not take place too long before the infamous Gambit trip.
