Arrow has cast Supernatural alum Amy Gumenick as a lethal fan of The Arrow in season 3.

Gumenick will play Carrie Cutter, aka Cupid, reports EW. She is descried as “a lethal villainness with a dangerously obsessive crush on The Arrow.”

She is expected to appear in episodes 6 and 7 of the upcoming season.

“I always loved the idea of Green Arrow having a crazed fan,” Arrow executive producer Andrew Kreisberg says. Kreisberg created Cupid during his turn writing the Green Arrow/Black Canary comic.

“When I was writing the comic book, my big goal was to create a villain who would last,” he adds. “Cupid has since appeared in the DC Nation shorts on Cartoon Network, and to have her fight our TV Arrow is so much more than I ever could have hoped for the character.”

Gumenick will be familiar to CW fans, as she played young Mary Winchester on Supernatural. Her other roles include Turn and guest spots on various series including CSI: NY, CSI: Miami, Grimm, Castle, and Bones.

Gumenick joins recent casting additions that include Nolan Funk (Cooper Seldon), Rila Fukushima (Katana), Brandon Routh (Ray Palmer), David Cubitt (Manhunter), Matt Ward (Komodo), J.R. Ramirez (Wildcat), Karl Yune (Maseo Yamashiro) and Peter Stormare (Vertigo).

Prior to the start of the season, we have also learned that not only would season 3 further develop the Oliver/Felicity romance that was teased in the season 2 finale, but legendary DC Comics villain Ra’s al Ghul would be the villain of the season.

Arrow season 3 premieres Wednesday, October 8 at 8:00 p.m. ET on The CW.
