Previously on ‘Arrow’

Felicity went to work at Palmer Technologies as CEO but was forced to fire a number of employees. However, she found her way around it by enlisting Curtis Holt and appointing him to create some world-changing technology — requiring the workforce Felicity had previously fired — by the shareholders’ meeting in six months.

Meanwhile, an old Queen family friend decided to run for mayor, but Damien Darhk and H.I.V.E. did not want to see this happen. They hired Lonnie Machin to stop her campaign. He kidnapped her daughter and was prepared to kill her when Team Arrow arrived. Thea managed to take Lonnie down, but she also set him on fire, caught up in the effects of the Lazarus Pit. Oliver managed to extinguish him, but on his way to the hospital, Lonnie killed the paramedics and left the sign of anarchy in blood.

Finally, Thea filled Laurel in on what happened in Nanda Parbat. This gave Laurel the idea to take Thea to Nanda Parbat for answers to why she is reacting to her resurrection six months after her dip in the Lazarus Pit. However, she had another motive: To bring Sara back to life.
